Data and Analysis

At Arun & Chichester Citizens Advice, we have a wealth of data from our clients about a vast number of issues. We regularly monitor and analyse this data in order to work out which issues are most prominent in our communities, highlight any relevant trends and patterns, and discern which demographics are being disproportionately affected by particular issues.

The best way for us to showcase this data is through our data dashboards. We have a number of interactive dashboards, all linked below, which each have a different focus and purpose.

These are our interactive dashboards which demonstrate how the cost-of-living crisis is impacting our clients in Arun and Chichester. We update these dashboards every month with data from our clients to keep an eye on trends relating to the cost-of-living crisis.

This dashboard looks at the demographics of sanctioned Universal Credit claimants in Arun, Chichester and the whole of the South East. The overarching finding from this investigation is that young men are the most likely group to receive a benefit sanction.

The Research and Campaigns team have recently been looking into the different issues faced by our clients with dependent children, in order to better understand the needs of different families in our community and how we can support them. This dashboard looks at cost of living issues faced by Arun clients who are couples or single parents with dependent children.
