Job description:

We are looking for an adviser to pilot a generalist advice service in Chichester Children and Family centre for 6 months We are looking for an adviser with good IT skills to support clients and advice clients with issues such as, Benefits, Debt, Housing, Employment and Consumer. The adviser must be able to work independently and remotely with a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service. You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues, understanding when it is appropriate to empower clients and when acting on behalf of vulnerable clients is necessary. This is a pilot so will require a positive and proactive adviser to ensure we learn from and develop the service quickly and respond to the needs of the service users in a short period of time.

Role purpose:

  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Good IT skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Competent Adviser in all enquiry areas
